The Billing Reports Group provides prebuilt reports designed to help you analyze, reconcile, and summarize your Job Cost and Billing activity. All reports are located in the Reports & Graphs module and support combinations of filters like:
Posted vs. Unposted
Unposted – Charges that are still pending or in-process during a Job Cost or Billing period
These have not yet been posted and are still editable
Reports use the transaction date range to pull this data
Posted – Charges that have been finalized and posted
These are considered historical and cannot be modified
Reports use the posting date range to define the reporting window
Tools & Equipment vs. Materials & Consumables
Reports can show charges for either category or both
In most reports, each category is broken out separately
Job Cost vs. Billing
Defines whether charges are being recorded as internal project costs (Job Cost) or external revenue-generating charges (Billing)
Detail vs. Summary
Summary – Non-itemized charges grouped under:
Tools & Equipment
Materials & Consumables
Adjustments/Miscellaneous Charges or Credits
Detail – Itemized charges shown line-by-line with full transaction information (e.g., item number, model, rate, chargeable hours, etc.)
📌 Most reports allow grouping by Cost Center, Cost Code, and Date Range, and can be filtered to match your billing or job review workflow.
