The OData API server can be accessed from Power BI Desktop. Follow these steps to connect a Power BI report to the ToolWatch OData API.
In a new report, select Get data from another source.
On the left side, click Other.
On the right, select OData Feed.
Click Connect.
Select Basic.
Enter the provided ToolWatch OData server URL (for example, https://api-odata.east.toolwatch.net). Please note that you must enter the URL with the correct region for your ToolWatch platform. This is either east, central or west. The example shows east. If you are unsure of your region, please contact support@toolwatch.com for that information.
Click OK.
Enter your ToolWatch credentials in User name and Password.
Click Connect.
After a successful connection, Power BI displays the Navigator with ToolWatch OData entities. Select an entity by clicking its checkbox.
Click the Load button to load the data into the report.
