Add Model to Job Stock List

The ability to add an asset model to a project's job stock list without formally requesting it is a powerful tool in Align Asset Management. This feature allows you to create a placeholder for assets you may need in the future, making it easy to track potential requirements without immediately placing a requisition.

Please Note:

User roles must be configured to allow a user to access/view, add/edit, or delete Job Stock. This can be done clicking on Configuring User Roles under the Administration section in the main left-hand menu.

  1. Select the role you want to configure and and click Edit, or click on Create New to start a new user role.

  2. Click on the toggle switch under the Inventory heading. This will grant viewing access to all permissions listed under Inventory.

  3. Enable the additional desired access to the Job Stock by checking the appropriate boxes.

  4. Click Save on the user role

Any row in the Job Stock report showing 0 qty, 0 requested, 0 purchased has not been formally assigned to the project and acts more as a ‘placeholder’ for potential future needs.

Steps to Add a Model to Job Stock List

  1. Navigate to Job Stock
Open the Align Asset Management platform and select Job Stock under the Inventory section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select a Project
Use the dropdown menu to choose the project for which you want to add models to the stock list. Any assets already assigned, requested, or purchased for this project will appear here.
