Create a spreadsheet using these EXACT Columns:
ItemNumber (Must be a valid tool number that exists in Align)
ImportValue (This value must be greater than the one already stored in Align).
Date (This value must be more recent than the last meter import date and must be in mm/dd/yyyy format).
Populate the spreadsheet with current tool and meter information.
3. Save the file in .csv format.
4. From the Navigator side bar select Administration > Settings > Under Equipment > Import Meter (see image). This will open the Import Meter screen.
5. Click the Browse button to choose the .csv file to import
If the file you imported does NOT contain any errors, the Status message for each tool will display the word “Valid”
Once your values are Valid, click the Import button. The lines will disappear from view as they are imported; New Meter values will replace Current Meter values on the respective tool records.
If the imported file contains errors, the Status field will contain a message describing the error(s) and providing feedback so that you can correct these errors and resubmit for updating.
