The Job Cost and Billing Rate Sheet has two sides:
Job Cost: Mirrors actual cost incurred by the organization and calculates how much it COSTS YOU for others to use your tools, materials, etc. This also includes your maintenance and purchase costs.
Billing: Employs rates designed to generate revenue by calculating how much YOU CHARGE others to use your tools, materials, etc.. Billing tracks your revenue from internal or external customers.
The same data is displayed across the rows and columns in both sections although they accrue data independantly.
Both sides are treated identically by the software, although they accrue data independently and can be configured equally. Since ToolWatch accrues Job Cost and Billing charges simultaneously, we will use the term "charge" to refer to both.
Keep in mind that if both tabs are set up with the same rates, they will produce the same data.
