Templates allow you to group multiple models together so they can be reused for creating Pick Tickets, Requisitions, or Purchase Orders. Once created, templates can be used multiple times to speed up repetitive ordering or request workflows.
Step 1: Create a Template Category
From the Navigation Panel, expand the Administration module.
Expand the Settings section.
Select Categories.
In the dropdown in the top-left corner, select Template Categories.
Click Create New in the top-right corner.
Enter a description for the Template Category.
Click Save.
Step 2: Create a New Template
From the Navigation Panel, go to Inventory Movement.
Click Templates to open the Template Browser.
Click Create Template at the top of the page.
In the New Template Type window, select Tools & Materials from the dropdown.
Click OK.
Step 3: Add Models to the Template
Use the sidebar to select Tools & Equipment or Materials & Consumables.
Browse through the category list and select items.
Click Add Models once your items are selected.
The number of models you've added will appear on the cart icon in the top-right corner.
Click the cart icon in the top-right corner to open the full template.
Step 4: Assign the Template Category and Finalize
In the open template, click the Template Category dropdown and select Browse.
Choose the appropriate category.
Click OK.
Enter a Template Description.
Verify the quantities for each model.
Click Add Models (bottom right) to confirm the selection.
Click Save to store your completed template.
