Introduction
Users in the Field can request tools or materials by creating a Requisition in ToolWatch. A Requisition is a list of items needed for a project or job. It can go through an approval process before being sent to the Warehouse or be submitted directly without approval, depending on your company’s workflow. By default, requests go to a manager for approval.
Once approved, the Warehouse sees a Pick Ticket for that request. A Pick Ticket is what the Warehouse team uses to fulfill the requested items. When items are picked, ToolWatch automatically converts the Pick Ticket into a Transfer Ticket, and the items are transferred to the destination.
Note: A Requisition is your tool or material request. It becomes a Pick Ticket for the Warehouse to fulfill.
Request tools or materials by creating a Requisition
Click Inventory Movement.
Select Requisitions Home.
In the Search Field, type the name of the Category for the Model Record you want to request, or select the Category at the bottom of the page.
Use the + or – buttons on the Product Card to select how many of each item you want to request.

In the Request From dropdown menu, select the person requesting the tools or materials.
Add any additional information, if needed.
Click Submit Request.
After you submit the request
Your request now appears in the Pick Ticket browser with the status Requested, waiting for manager approval.
If approval is required, the request must be reviewed before the Warehouse can fulfill it.
If the approval step is skipped, the request status becomes Ready to Pick and goes directly to the Warehouse.
Once the items are picked, the system creates a Transfer Ticket and the tools or materials are sent to the specified location.
