How to Customize Which Columns Are Displayed in a Rate Sheet

Choose which columns appear in your Rate Sheet view. Hide unused fields, rearrange columns, and streamline your layout.

ToolWatch lets you control which columns are visible when viewing or editing a Rate Sheet. This helps reduce clutter, focus on the fields that matter most, and improve performance when working with large sets of tools or materials.

Step-by-Step: Customize Rate Sheet Columns

  1. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the lower-right corner of the Rate Sheet

  2. Select Select Columns to Display from the pop-up menu

  3. To remove a column, select it from Visible Columns and click the left arrow (←)

  4. To add a column, select it from Available Columns and click the right arrow (→)

  5. Select a column name and use the up (↑) or down (↓) arrows to rearrange the column order

  6. Click Save Changes to apply

✅ These changes affect your personal view only and do not impact Rate Sheet calculations.


💡 Tips and Notes

  • Hide optional fields like Loss Charge or GL Accounts when not in use

  • Keep required fields visible while editing (e.g., Daily Rate, Base Value)

  • Column order can be changed using arrows in the column selection window

  • These display settings are user-specific and don’t affect others

  • You cannot permanently delete or remove a column — only hide it from view
