Editing Processed, Unposted Transfer Tickets

Learn how to safely unlock and update specific fields on a Processed transfer ticket before charges are posted to billing.

Overview

If an asset transfer has already been operationally processed, the items have physically moved to their destination and the fields automatically lock. However, if financial charges have not yet been finalized (posted) by your accounting team within Job Cost and Billing, you can temporarily unlock the ticket to adjust your allocation data.

Once charges are officially posted, these fields lock permanently to protect accounting audit trails.
