The ToolWatch GPS Insight integration is focused on ensuring that the two systems share vehicle inventories and current odometer readings.

A uniquely-tracked tool will be created in ToolWatch for every vehicle in GPS Insight. The integration can be configured to sync vehicles in only certain GPS Insight Vehicle Groups (e.g. only vehicles in the group "Delivery").
When vehicles are first synced down from GPS Insight, an attempt will be made to find a matching Model record in ToolWatch. If one is found, then that Model is used. Otherwise, if one is not found, then a new Model will be created, along with any necessary Manufacturers and Descriptions. The Model Description and Category Description are always set to the fixed value "GPS Insight Equipment" (vehicle groups do not affect the Category).

When vehicles are synced to ToolWatch, the odometer reading on the vehicle will be synced to the meter level of the item.
