Getting Started with the ToolWatch Mobile App

Learn how to install, log in, and activate your license for ToolWatch Mobile.

Overview

The ToolWatch Mobile App connects field and warehouse teams directly to the ToolWatch Cloud platform. Whether you're a superintendent, warehouse manager, or support staff, the app helps you stay organized, efficient, and up to date—right from your phone or tablet.

The ToolWatch Mobile App includes two application modes:

  • Field Mode – for project managers, field workers, and field support staff

  • Warehouse Mode – for warehouse managers, warehouse support, and drivers

Users can switch between modes depending on their assigned role and permissions. Both modes support real-time syncing with the Cloud platform to eliminate manual entry and boost productivity.


1. Install the Mobile App

On Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Search for "ToolWatch".

  3. Tap Install.

On iOS:

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Search for "ToolWatch".

  3. Tap Download.


2. Log In to the App

  1. Open the ToolWatch Mobile App on your device.

  2. Enter your username and password provided by your ToolWatch administrator.

  3. Tap Log In.

Note: Your mobile device must remain connected to the internet for the app to function properly. A strong connection ensures faster and more reliable performance.


3. Licensing and Access

To use the ToolWatch Mobile App, you must have:

  • A valid ToolWatch user license

  • Login credentials issued by your administrator

After logging in, you'll be prompted to choose between:

  • Field App

  • Warehouse App

Your license determines which app(s) you can access. If you're unsure which to use, check with your administrator.

Device Compatibility

To use the ToolWatch Mobile App, your device must meet the following operating system requirements:

  1. Android devices must run version 5.0 (API 21) or higher.

  2. iOS devices must run version 12.2 or higher.

For the best performance, we recommend using the latest version of Android or iOS available for your device.

If your device is running an older version than listed above, the app may not install or function properly.
