Overview
Stay informed when a retired tool is scanned wirelessly at a location you supervise. By enabling notifications, you can choose to receive email or SMS text alerts, ensuring immediate awareness of such events. Follow the steps below to set up these notifications.
Steps to Enable Notifications
Access Settings
Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the ToolWatch/Align dashboard.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Locate User Preference Notifications
In the User Notifications section, scroll down to the notification option that says:
"Retired Tool has been scanned at a location I supervise."
Enable Notifications
To receive an email notification, click the first checkbox.
To receive an SMS text notification, click the second checkbox.
Save Changes
Click Save to apply your notification preferences.
