Count Tickets provide a detailed list of expected inventory at a specific location, aiding in physical inventory counts. They can be created as new, empty tickets or as existing tickets that already contain inventory expected at the location.
From the Navigator panel, click the Inventory Movement drop-down menu.
Select Count Tickets to open the Count Ticket Browser.
Click Create Count Ticket to open a new Count Ticket.
Change the Count Ticket Number if needed—this can be changed before saving but is locked once saved.
In the Count Location field, select the location to be inventoried. This cannot be changed after saving.
Enter a Summary (e.g., "Annual Physical Inventory").
Ensure the Status field is set to "Open" for active tracking.
Note: The Created field will display the date and time of ticket creation.
Add items to the Count Ticket by scanning barcodes or selecting them from the Tool/Material Browser.
If the selected items are not assigned to the chosen Count Location, a prompt will appear asking if you still want to add them.
Click Save to finalize the initial ticket setup.
Next Step: Once your ticket is saved and items are added, proceed to Recording Counts on a Count Ticket.
