Creating a Count Ticket from the Item Browser

Use the ToolWatch Item Browser to select specific items and quickly add them to a new or existing count ticket.

The Item Browser allows you to filter for specific tools and materials assigned to a location and add them directly to a count ticket. This is an efficient way to build a count list based on current system assignments.

Steps to Create a Count Ticket from the Item Browser

  1. From the Navigator panel, click the Inventory drop-down menu to expand the section.

  2. Select Item Browser from the menu.

  3. Select your categories to display from the Tools & Equipment or Materials & Consumables tabs.

  4. Enter the name or location of items to be counted in the filter box under the Assignment column.

    • Note: This will filter the list to display only items assigned to that specific location.

  5. Select the items you wish to inventory by checking the box to the left of each item row.

    • Note: You can select all items in the filtered list by checking the box to the right of the Category column header.

  6. Right-click any of the selected items and select Add to Count Ticket.

    • Review how the items are added:

      1. If an open Count Ticket already exists with a matching Count Location, the items are added directly to that ticket.

      2. If no matching open ticket exists, the system will automatically create a new Count Ticket.

      3. To add both types of items to the same ticket, switch between the Tools & Equipment and Materials & Consumables tabs and repeat these steps.

Next Step: After adding your items, go to the Count Ticket Browser to open your ticket and begin Recording Counts on a Count Ticket.
