Once a Count Ticket is created, you must record the physical quantity found for each item to reconcile your inventory.
Steps to Record Counts
From the Navigator panel, click the Inventory Movement drop-down menu.
Select Count Tickets to open the Count Ticket Browser.
Locate your desired ticket and click the checkbox next to the ticket row.
From the Actions drop-down menu, select View to open the ticket.
Scroll to the right of the item list to find the Count button.
Tip: Click the specific line item you want to count to highlight it in blue. This helps you identify the correct row more easily if you need to scroll back and forth.
Tip: To reduce scrolling altogether, click the Settings (gear icon) in the bottom right of the browser to remove unnecessary columns from your display.
Click the Count button next to an item to open the Line Detail window.
Complete the Line Detail information for the item:
For uniquely tracked items: Verify the count.
For quantity tracked items: Enter the total physical amount found in the Count field.
Add Notes: Enter any necessary details in the Note field, such as "item not found" or "researching location".
Click OK to save the quantity and notes for that specific item.
Note: If you do not wish to count the item at this time, click Cancel.
Repeat these steps for all remaining items on the ticket.
Review the item list to confirm your progress:
Text for counted items will appear black.
Text for uncounted items will appear green.
Click Save to finalize your progress on the Count Ticket.
If the inventory count is finished, select Closed from the Status drop-down menu.
Note: Closing a ticket is for reporting purposes but does not prevent further modifications.
