Creating and Using Verify Tickets (Field Mode only)

Create Verify Tickets in Field Mode to confirm tool assignments and inventory accuracy by location, employee, or user.

Overview

Verify Tickets help users confirm whether tools are correctly assigned to job sites, employees, or themselves. These tickets are created in Field Mode of the ToolWatch Mobile App and are used to verify tool presence and counts in real time. Verifications can be performed by users on their own tools, tools by location, or tools assigned to others.


1. Create a Verify Ticket

  1. Make sure you are in Field Mode.

  2. Tap Verify from the Home Screen.

  3. Choose one of the following options:

    • Verify My Tools – Create a ticket for tools assigned to you.

    • Verify Tools by Location – Create a ticket for tools assigned to a specific location.

    • My Open Tickets – View or continue working on existing Verify Tickets.


2. Verify Unique Tools

  1. Tap a tool listed in your Verify Ticket to mark it as Verified.

  2. A VERIFIED stamp will appear on the tool.

  3. Tap the tool again to Unverify it if needed.

  4. Tap the tool’s record to:

    • View additional information

    • Add a note

    • See who last verified the tool

    • Change its verification status


3. Verify Quantity Tools

  1. Tap a quantity item in the Verify Ticket.

  2. Enter the number of items you’ve physically verified.

  3. Tap OK.

  4. A VERIFIED stamp will appear if the quantity matches the expected total.

    • If it does not match, the tool will remain unverified.

  5. Tap the tool’s record to:

    • Change quantity

    • Add a note

    • Remove the count

    • View who last verified the tool
