Overview
Use Wireless Scanning in the ToolWatch mobile app to detect tagged items within a selected location. A new scan identifies items that are present, missing, or located in the wrong place. This article explains how to start a scan and understand the results.
Creating a New Scan in the Mobile App
Select Wireless Scan from the main menu.
Select New Scan.
Select Scan Location and choose the location you want to scan for items.
• The selected location determines which items appear in the SCANNED and NOT FOUND results.Select Start Scan to begin scanning for tags within the area or location.
Select Stop Scan when you are done scanning.
Review your scan results:
SCANNED tab: Displays tags detected in the selected location.
Green SCANNED: Item is located in the selected location and assigned to that same location.
Red SCANNED: Item is found in the selected location but assigned to a different location.
NOT FOUND tab: Displays items that are assigned to the selected location but were not detected during the scan.
Select the information (“i”) icon to open Item Details.
