Overview
ToolWatch can tell you when a purchase request needs approval or changes status.
Notifications Inside ToolWatch
You get these automatically. You do not need to turn them on:
A request you submitted is Approved or Rejected.
Someone mentions you in a Collaboration comment.
Email and Text Notifications
You must turn these on:

Before You Begin
Sign in to ToolWatch Cloud (the website). You cannot set up notifications in the mobile app.
To get text messages, add and verify your phone number first. See Set Up Email and SMS Notifications (Cloud Only).
How to Turn On Purchase Request Notifications (Email or Text)
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to the User Preferences section. Under Notifications, next to each purchase request notification you want, check By email..., By SMS..., or both.
Click Save.
How to Turn On Purchase Request Notifications for a Location (Email or Text)
Use these steps to get approval notifications for one location, even if you do not supervise it.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to the User Preferences section. Under Notifications, click the Location Notifications tab.
Click the Location field, then click <Browse...>. The Locations window opens.
Choose a tab:
Locations: shows all stock locations and job sites.
Stock Locations: shows only stock locations.
Select the location.
Click OK.
Next to Purchase Requests at this location needs approval, check By email..., By SMS..., or both.
Click Save.
Note: You can get notifications for more than one location, but you can only select one location at a time. To add another location, repeat steps 4 to 9.
