ToolWatch offers several notification options to keep users informed as a request moves through the approval process. You can manage these preferences to ensure you are alerted via your preferred method.
In-App Notifications You will automatically receive notifications inside ToolWatch when a request you submitted is Approved or Rejected, or if you are mentioned in a Collaboration comment .
Email and SMS Notifications Follow these steps to customize your external alert preferences:
Select your profile image in the top-right corner of the screen.
Navigate to the User Preferences/Notifications section.
Select the + Add button next to the Mobile or Phone field to register your number for SMS alerts.
The User Notifications and Location Notifications tabs are located beside each other; select the one you wish to configure:
Under the User Notifications tab, locate the Purchase Request category and toggle the Email or SMS switches for your preferred alerts.
Under the Location Notifications tab, you can also toggle alerts for when a purchase request changes status.
Toggle the Email or SMS switches to ON for the following options:
Purchase Requests at a Location I Supervise Need Approval (User Notifications)
Purchase Requests at Any Location Need Approval (User Notifications)
Purchase Requests Submitted by Me Have Changed Status (User Notifications)
Purchase Requests at this location needs approval (Location Notifications)
Select Save Changes to finalize your notification settings.
