How ToolWatch connects to DEWALT Tool Connect Site Manager and how to turn on asset reassignment from Bluetooth (BLE) scans.

ToolWatch can integrate with a variety of real time sensors. ToolWatch can also integrate with DEWALT's Tool Connect Site Manager to track tools in real time. Please check with your CSM on implementation.

Turn On Automatic Asset Reassignment

ToolWatch can be configured to re-assign assets based on BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) scans. If this option is selected, ToolWatch will automatically re-assign assets based on BLE scans using transfers. In ToolWatch, this option is called Automatically Re-assign Assets Based on Wireless Scans.

  1. In the left menu, select Administration.

  2. Select Company Settings.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and, under Wireless and GPS Settings, select the Automatically Re-assign Assets Based on Wireless Scans checkbox.

  4. Click Save Changes.
