Express Check-Out (Cloud)

In the ToolWatch Cloud, use Express Check-Out to fill in Transfer From with your pinned stock location when you check out items.

Overview

This article covers Express Check-Out in ToolWatch Cloud. To use Express Check-Out in the mobile app, see Express Check-Out (Warehouse Mobile App).

Express Check-Out is a quick way to start a transfer ticket from your stock location. When you select Express Check-Out, ToolWatch automatically fills in the Transfer From field with the stock location you are pinned to. You then choose where the items are going and add the items. Express Check-Out does not add items for you.

Steps

  1. Expand Inventory Movement.

  2. Select Transfer Tickets.

  3. Click +Create Transfer.

  4. Select the Express Check-Out radio button at the top right of the transfer ticket. The Transfer From field fills in with the stock location you are pinned to.

  5. Click the Transfer To drop-down menu and select Browse.

  6. Choose the Location or Employee that is receiving the items.

  7. Click OK.

  8. (Optional) Fill in Cost Center, Cost Code, Responsible Party, and Return Date.

  9. Add the items:

    1. Scan or type the item number in Scan or enter item, then click Enter, or

    2. Click +Add Tool Record or +Add Material Record.

  10. Click Process Transfer.

Notes

  • Select Express Check-Out before you add items. If you select it after you add items, all items are removed from the transfer ticket.

  • After you add items, the radio button changes to Transfer. This is normal, because the ticket is a transfer. Do not select Express Check-Out again, or all items are removed.
