In ToolWatch, you can set target levels for all items. If stock quantity falls below the set level, a message appears in the Message Center across all dashboards.
Note: Adjusting the quantity of a low level item above the designated low level quantity at the Product record level will clear the item from the Low Level Browser and the Dashboard Message Center.
Adjusting Low Level Quantities through a Purchase Order
Two ways to access the Low Level Browser:
Highlight the items you want to reorder.
If no items appear, click the Recalculate button to refresh and update the window.
For each item, you will see:
Category
Description
Model Record Number
Current Level
On Order Levels
Designated Levels (Low, Target, High)
Preferred Vendor for re-ordering the item
Select "+Add to Purchase Order" to add the items to a purchase order.
Purchase and receive sufficient quantity to bring the stock level equal to or above the Low Level.
The quantity received will automatically be added to the material quantity inventory count.
Manually adjusting low level quantities:
You can manually adjust low level quantities at the Product record level.
To manually update inventory levels at the Product record level:
Expand the Inventory section.
Select Catalog.
Locate and open your product record.
Expand the Stock List panel.
Click the In Stock quantity link number.
Enter your new total quantity of the item.
Click Save.
