The Job Stock Browser in ToolWatch Web helps you manage inventory at non-stock locations—such as job sites—by showing what models and quantities are currently assigned. It’s designed to help you maintain optimal stock levels in the field and make decisions that keep your projects moving efficiently.
What Is Job Stock?
Displays tools and materials assigned to non-stock locations
Helps you identify shortages, overages, and gaps in supply
Allows you to monitor assigned inventory and usage at jobsites
Includes visual indicators when quantities fall outside defined thresholds
Accessing the Job Stock Browser
In the Navigator Panel, expand Inventory.
Click Job Stock.
How to Use the Job Stock Browser
1. Select a Non-Stock Location
Use the dropdown in the upper left to select a job or non-stock location.
This dropdown shows only non-stock locations (i.e., job sites, mobile crews).
Your previous selection will be remembered for convenience.
Once selected, the grid will auto-populate with any models assigned to that location.
What You’ll See
Each row in the browser shows a model currently assigned to the selected location, including:
Category: Type of item (e.g., Drills, Saws)
Model: Model number associated with the item
Description: Details about the item
Qty: Total quantity at the location
On Requisition Qty: Quantity already requested or in transit
Low Qty / Target Qty: Thresholds set using the Job Level Manager
Use these values to understand inventory availability at a glance.
Additional Features
Actions Dropdown: Perform actions like adjusting stock or managing requisitions (based on permissions).
Job Level Manager: Click in the top right to set:
Low Quantity
Target Quantity
High Quantity
Export: Click to download a report of your job stock.
Why It Matters
The Job Stock Browser gives field teams and inventory managers real-time visibility into what’s available at the job site. You can quickly assess:
What needs to be replenished
What’s already on the way
Whether assigned inventory meets project requirements
This helps reduce downtime and ensures that crews always have the tools and materials they need to stay productive.
