The Returns Home screen allows you to view and track return activity at a glance. It displays tools and materials available to return, items already in progress, and a summary of recently returned items.
How to Access the Returns Home Window
From the left-hand menu, expand the Inventory Movement module.
Click Returns Home.
Use this screen to:
Start a new return
View returns in progress
Review recently returned items
Search for items to return
Select items by category
Search Bar
Use the search bar to type keywords or item names to quickly find tools or equipment to return.
Return From and Cost Center
Use the Return From and Cost Center dropdown menus to select the job or location returning items. These selections filter the items shown on the screen.
Start a Return
The Start a Return panel displays available items from the selected job or location that can be returned.
This section shows:
Item name and description
Quantity available to return
Click a category link or item to begin the return process.
Returns in Progress
The Returns in Progress panel shows any pending return tickets that have been created but not yet completed.
This section shows:
Return ticket number
Item name and description
Quantity being returned
Click the ticket number link to open and view return details.
Recently Returned
The Recently Returned panel displays a list of items that have been returned most recently.
If no returns have been completed, this section will show the message: No Recently Returned Items.
Item Categories
At the bottom of the Returns Home screen, items are grouped by category for quick browsing.
Categories include:
Tools & Equipment
Materials & Consumables
Click a category link like Drills, Saws, or Trucks to view available items to return.
