Using the ToolWatch Map to Track Tools and Equipment

Track tools in real time using the ToolWatch Map. View locations, scans, and details with filters, legends, and hover cards.

Overview

The ToolWatch Map allows you to quickly locate and monitor tools and equipment across job sites and warehouses. By combining GPS, Bluetooth (BLE), and Mobile App Barcode Scans, the map provides a real-time snapshot of where assets are and when they were last scanned.

Key Features of the Map

  • Filters for Locations and Items: Choose stock or non-stock locations and filter by item category to focus your view.

  • Map and Satellite Views: Switch between standard map and satellite imagery.

  • Legend and Shading: Easily identify scan types (GPS, BLE, barcode) and use shading to see how recently data was updated.

  • Hover-Over Cards: Get quick details about items, including model and assignment, without leaving the map.

  • Links to Details: Click directly into Item Detail or Model Detail pages.
